Holly Galbraith

Ask anyone who knows me, and they’ll agree that I love stories. I love to read, listen to, and especially tell stories. For over 33 years, I was a professional full-time teacher who has mentored many people to find what inspires them and motivated them to share their own talents and gifts with their community and to their own children. Writing scripts for plays and murder mysteries, presenting at assemblies and conventions, and hosting and speaking at a countless variety of ceremonies has led me to this next venture of owning my own celebrant business, Silver Peace Ceremonies - Grande Prairie.

Having been in education long enough, I have been blessed to be a part of many graduations and weddings and celebrations as a guest speaker, M.C., reader of passages and scripture, photographer, music selector, and even wrangled my own two children who have acted as flower girls. Now adults, they are out in the world making their mark as life-long learners, entrepreneurs, and giving back to the community.

After standing up with friends at their wedding, held outdoors, of course, in 2020, it was made clear to me that despite what’s going on in our world, babies will be born, people will pass, and nothing can stop love! I want to always be a part of that!

It is my dream and lifelong wish to continue to serve my community by providing genuine, loving, creative, and memorable ceremonies that will help you celebrate those special moments in your life!  We will work together to make a meaningful and very memorable ceremony, one that you and your loved ones, family and friends, will remember for years to come.
